Os 4 vetores da inovação: Um quadro de referência para a gestão estratégica do design

Resumo


Este ensaio teórico e exploratório, classificado como qualitativo, histórico e documental, tem como objetivo apresentar um quadro de referência dos diferentes vetores da inovação a serem adotados pela gestão estratégica do design. Para tal, revisa-se as teorias sobre criatividade e inovação, discute-se a lógica dos atuais métodos e técnicas de gestão da inovação e organiza-se os inúmeros determinantes e consequentes da inovação já investigados empiricamente. A síntese visual dos resultados encontrados apresenta os quatro vetores de atuação estratégica do design discernidos em função de seus resultados mensuráveis: 1) o design como meio de otimizar as formas de produtos ou processos e gerar economia; 2) o design como meio de desencadear sentimentos coletivos e gerar simpatia; 3) o design como meio de instituir culturas organizacionais e gerar harmonia; e 4) o design como meio de se adequar aos fatos e gerar ergonomia.
