Usabilidade de Produtos de Consumo: uma análise dos conceitos, métodos e aplicações

Resumo


A usabilidade é um fator importante para a qualidade de produtos e sistemas. Consiste em um conceito amplamente utilizado no desenvolvimento de produtos, e de acordo com o próprio termo, tem como atividade principal observar as pessoas usando um produto, a partir da interação humano-tarefa-produto. Um número crescente de empresas estão reconhecendo não só a importância da usabilidade no processo de design, mas também o seu potencial para garantir vantagens no mercado. Devido a esta importância, o tema tem sido alvo de vários estudos propostos por pesquisadores e especialistas. Este artigo apresenta conceitos e definições sobre a usabilidade em produtos de consumo, suas dimensões e modelos de avaliação e testes. O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em estabelecer um estudo conceitual baseado em diversos autores.
